EMC?s VMware Virtual Infrastructure business, VMware, Inc., is the provider of virtual infrastructure software solutions from the desktop to the data center. VMware?s virtual infrastructure software solutions run on industry-standard desktops and servers and support a range of operating system and application environments. EMC?s Information Infrastructure business comprises three segments: Information Storage, Content Management and Archiving, and RSA Information Security. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company acquired Pi Corporation, Document Sciences Corporation, Infra Corporation Pty Limited, WysDM Software Inc., Conchango plc. and Iomega Corporation.
