Known as "the Oracle of Omaha", Warren Buffett is Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway and perhaps the greatest investor of all time. His wealth fluctuates with the performance of the market, but for the last few years he has been reported to
be worth over $40 billion, making him the second richest man in the world.
Buffett is a value investor. His company Berkshire Hathaway is basically a holding company for his investments.
Last year 2007, Berkshire trounced the S&P's 3.5 percent advance with a gain of 28.7 percent, its best year since 1998.
