Northeast Utilities is the parent company of the Northeast Utilitiessystem. The Northeast Utilities system furnishes franchised retail electric service in Connecticut, New
Hampshire and western Massachusetts through three of the company's wholly owned subsidiaries: The Connecticut Light and Power Company; Public Service Company of New Hampshire; and Western Massachusetts Electric Company. It also provides service to a limited number of customers through another wholly owned subsidiary, Holyoke Water Power Company.
