Energy West, Incorporated is a natural gas utility with operations in Montana, Wyoming, North Carolina and Maine. The Company operates in five business segments: natural gas operations, marketing and production operations (EWR), pipeline operations (EWD), propane operations (discontinued operations), and corporate and
other. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company distributed approximately 26 billion cubic feet of natural gas to approximately 37,000 customers through regulated utilities operating in and around Great Falls and West Yellowstone, Montana, Cody, Wyoming, Bangor, Maine and Elkin, North Carolina. During 2008, the Company marketed approximately 2.3 billion cubic feet of natural gas to commercial and industrial customers in Montana and Wyoming and manage midstream supply and production assets for transportation customers and utilities through the subsidiary, Energy West Resources, Inc. (EWR).
