John Bean Technologies Corporation (JBT Corporation) is a global technology solutions provider to segments of the food processing and air transportation industries. The Company designs, manufactures, tests and services systems and products, through the JBT FoodTech and JBT AeroTech segments. JBT FoodTech markets its solutions and services to multi-national and regional industrial food processing companies. JBT AeroTech markets its solutions and services to domestic and international airport authorities, passenger airlines, air freight and ground handling companies and the United States military. JBT Corporation, through its consolidated business segments, serves two primary industries, including food processing and air transportation. On July 31, 2008, FMC Technologies, Inc. completed the spin-off of its FoodTech and Airport Systems businesses into JBT Corporation. In May 2009, JBT FoodTech acquired the assets of Scottish-based Double D Food Engineering Ltd.
