Hughes Communications, Inc., operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HNS), a telecommunications company. The Company is a provider of broadband satellite network services and systems to the enterprise market. It is also the satellite Internet access provider to North American consumers and small and medium sized businesses, such as small office and home office users. In addition, the Company provides managed services to large enterprises that combine the use of satellite and terrestrial alternatives.
