Perkinelmer, Inc. is a provider of technology, services and solutions to the diagnostics, academic research, environmental monitoring and safety and security markets. In May 2009, the Company acquired Analytica of Branford, Inc. In September 2009, the Company acquired the genetic screening business of Surendra Genetic Labs, Pvt Ltd. and SYM-BIO Lifescience.
