Kosmos Energy Ltd. is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company focused on under-explored regions in Africa. As of December 31, 2010, its asset portfolio included exploration prospects offshore the Republic of Ghana, as well as exploration licenses with hydrocarbon potential onshore the Republic of Cameroon and offshore from the Kingdom of Morocco. As of December 31, 2010, the Company?s asset portfolio consisted of seven discoveries, including the Jubilee Field. Its other discoveries include Mahogany East, Odum, Tweneboa, Enyenra, Teak and Tweneboa Deep offshore Ghana. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had also identified 47 undrilled prospects within its existing license areas, including 18 prospects across three play types offshore Ghana, 10 prospects across three play types in Cameroon and 19 prospects across three play types offshore Morocco. The Company?s portfolio of assets consists primarily of oil discoveries and prospects.
